Mike and Brian at Rushford & Sons Brewhouse located in Upton, MA, wanted custom tap handles that would represent their brewery’s identity while standing out. With their commitment to quality and craftsmanship in mind, Knockout Designs collaborated with them to design a custom tap marker that showcases their values and draws attention at local bars and restaurants.
The final design features a sleek wooden shaft, shaped for a unique and timeless look. The wood is laser engraved with the brewery’s core principles—Honor, Progress, Tradition—and accented with engraved wheat stalks, tying the design to their brewing heritage. This natural wooden tap handle base conveys the authenticity behind every batch of Rushford & Sons beer. At the top of the handle, a 3D plastic logo medallion displays the Rushford & Sons emblem. The shield-shaped medallion, featuring bold typography and a classic color palette of red, white, and black, creates a striking contrast against the natural wood. The emblem design is painted in the brewery’s colors, ensuring strong brand visibility while adding a modern and professional touch.
