Canyon Coffee, a coffee brand based in Los Angeles, California, asked Knockout Designs to create custom coffee tap handles for their in-house cold brew taps. Following the success of our initial collaboration, which involved creating tap handles for a coffee trade show, Canyon Coffee now needed a design that would be just as impactful in their own space. As part of their mission to offer an elevated coffee experience, Canyon Coffee decided to expand their in-house offerings by adding cold brew on tap. To complement this offering, they needed custom cold brew tap handles that would embody the elegance and simplicity of their brand.
Drawing inspiration from Canyon Coffee’s minimalistic aesthetic, The Knockout Designs team crafted three-sided, laser engraved wooden tap handles that combine sophistication with functionality. These distinct tap handles add dimension while maximizing visibility from every angle. Each side of the handle is laser-engraved, creating a clean and seamless design that reinforces the Canyon Coffee identity.
At the top of each handle sits the Canyon Coffee logo, laser-engraved in precise detail. This understated yet recognizable element makes it easy for customers to spot and captures the elegance of Canyon Coffee’s branding, providing a sense of sophistication while maintaining a simple, timeless appeal. We used high-quality wood to give the handles a natural finish, echoing the earthy tones that Canyon Coffee often uses in its branding and packaging. High-quality wooden tap handles are long-lasting and can withstand the wear and tear of daily use. With proper care and finishing, wooden tap handles resist warping, cracking, and fading, making them ideal for a busy environment.
